I couldn't agree with you more. I was raised Catholic but haven't practiced any "structured" religion for years. For me, I have found too many to be hypocritical, judgmental, zero empathy; not actually following the teachings of Christ. If we cannot "be there" for one another, then what are we doing here at all?
There's nothing Christian about those people, none whatsoever. That form of Christianity is about oppression, control and patriarchy.
